this is an independent and private writing blog for daemon targaryen of george r.r. martin’s fire and blood and hbo's house of the dragon. i am not related to the fandom at large.i am not exclusive to any fandom! i will write with almost any fandom and i greatly love writing with ocs, but please keep in mind that i am a mutally exclusive blog, meaning i will only write with mutuals.my icon border was made by the lovely supersources (with some tiny tweaks by me), but all other icons, graphics, and related content used on this blog have been made by me unless credited otherwise; please don’t take anything! i would also appreciate that my blog aesthetics (url, color scheme, graphics, icons, etc.) not be taken or used for inspiration either, as i’ve worked very hard on creating a specific vision for daemon.i am extremely critical of daemon's source material (both fire and blood and house of the dragon), and considering fire and blood is a third party account of his life to begin with, the majority of what i write will be headcanon based. there are many things i don’t like about fire and blood, and even more that i don’t like about house of the dragon, so i will be picking and choosing from the source material as i please and will be building off of that. please keep that in mind before following.regarding daemon and the problematic nature of his canon relationships: i want to make it clear that i will not be romanticizing incest under any circumstances on this blog. however, i do still acknowledge his relationships with rhaenyra and laena, specifically, considering how essential they (and their children) are to his character development and to the dance of dragons itself, so it is likely that these dynamics will be regularly explored or mentioned in writing on this blog or in meta posts on this blog. because of this, i will not be tagging mentions of incest unless it's overt, however, i will be tagging any daemon/rhaenyra content that can be interpreted as "shippy" (even though that will never be the intention) with daemyra / as well as any references to or mentions of grooming with grooming mention /. as far as nettles goes, i acknowledge them being at maidenpool and working together, but nothing more than that.
